Strategy development, coaching and consulting

for charitable foundations, NGOs, and social entrepreneurs

About me

Hello! I’m Alina Nosenko, a creative strategistphilanthropy and impact consultant, and systemic business coach. For over 14 years, I have worked alongside civil society and philanthropic organizations across Europe, helping bring clarity to complexity: defining strategic priorities, shaping clear positioning, and building strong brands that truly reflect your mission. I also teach at a university, sharing these approaches with future nonprofit leaders.

In my work, I combine structure, data, and co-creation. I advise teams and founders, facilitate group processes, and moderate events. My business background enables me to build systems around a mission — so that decisions become easier and progress becomes visible.

At the center of my work are your target audience, your team, and your mission. I rely on data and analysis to ensure decisions remain thoughtful even in times of change and uncertainty. And what I value most is the moment when alignment emerges and everything comes together — when an organization begins to shine from within.

Services

Values

Focus
on Results

Together with your team, we move toward a clear goal and tangible outcomes. I keep priorities in focus and help turn ideas into decisions.

Individual
Approach

I tailor my approach to your organization, team, and context. Before we begin, I take the time to deeply understand your situation so that the solutions are precise and practical.

Monitoring
& Ongoing Support

After the core work is done, I support the implementation of changes and hold follow-up sessions. This allows us to adjust the strategy in time and maintain momentum.

Social
Responsibility

I work with organizations that take on complex social challenges and strive to create long-term impact. It is important to me that a mission translates into real change.

Experience-Based
Practice

I use approaches tested in practice and grounded in real cases. I combine the structured thinking of an MBA with hands-on experience across different European contexts.

Systemic
& Intentional Approach

I help build a simple and clear system of work so that goals are achieved without chaos or constant “firefighting.” Clear roles, concrete steps, and accountability at every stage.

Impact is brilliance.

I help organizations turn ambition into tangible change: meaningful for their audience, sustainable in outcomes, and distinctive in their positioning. This is my approach to effective — and truly brilliant — philanthropy.

Testimonials

We had the pleasure of working with Alina as part of our “City of Change” program, where she led two sessions on strategy for civil society organizations.
Honestly, strategy can be a dry topic — but Alina made it click. Participants came in unsure where to even begin with their organizational strategy, and left with concrete ideas they were genuinely excited to implement. The sessions felt like a conversation, not a lecture.
Some of the feedback we heard afterward:

“Ms. Alina’s lecture was filled with exactly the kind of content that organizations so often lack on their path of development. At the beginning, an organization’s work is often almost chaotic, so this foundational knowledge becomes a clear direction for any organization striving to grow”.
“Some of the ideas were familiar to us, but thanks to the tools and models provided, we were able to rethink them and articulate our mission and vision much more clearly. During the lecture, we were actively messaging within our team because so many points resonated with us and made us want to apply them in practice immediately.”

We at NGO “My City” really appreciated Alina’s down-to-earth style and her ability to meet participants where they are. We would definitely recommend her to any civil society team looking to get more intentional about their strategy.

I highly recommend Alina as a professional who helps find grounding and clarity during periods of significant change. I reached out to her while working as an NGO project manager; due to forced emigration and the emotional intensity of my role, I needed an outside professional perspective to assess my situation objectively. Alina’s approach seamlessly blends structure with deep empathy. She expertly deconstructs complex challenges and provides clear, practical feedback, drawing on her extensive experience leading a charitable foundation. I particularly value her ability to balance the roles of coach and consultant: while I initially sought tools for self-strengthening, our work revealed a deeper need for recovery and career transformation. Her five years of experience living and working in Germany proved invaluable for professional adaptation abroad. This partnership helped me maintain focus under pressure and eventually led to a pivot toward further professional development and skill-building. Alina has a unique talent for guiding clients through transitions without pressure, always maintaining a steady orientation toward the desired outcome.

What an inspiring seminar on “Impact requires direction: Working strategically in the nonprofit sector” this has been! We would like to thank Alina Nosenko for her outstanding lecture and valuable contribution to our students’ learning experience. With remarkable expertise and practical insight, especially from Ukrainian nonprofit work, she illuminated what it truly means to work strategically in the nonprofit sector.
Alina combines deep subject knowledge with clarity, real-world experience, and an engaging teaching style that encourages critical thinking and meaningful discussion. Her session provided our students with both conceptual frameworks and practical perspectives essential for excellent nonprofit management.
We are grateful for your contribution and would be delighted to welcome you again, Alina!

We had the pleasure of working with Alina as a trainer on strategic management in our Civil Society Leadership Programme for Ukraine, delivered to 22 NGO leaders from Ukraine.
Alina combines strong strategic expertise with an engaging, high-energy facilitation style. Participants described her as an excellent speaker who presents complex strategic concepts clearly and with confidence, making them highly relevant for real organisational challenges. Many shared that the session prompted immediate reflection and action on their organisations’ future.
We highly value her contribution to the programme and would gladly collaborate with her again.

Working with Alina was a true discovery for our team. Through this collaboration, we were able to look at the work of our Human Rights Group SICH from an entirely new perspective. Much of the process was about stepping outside our own bubble, questioning assumptions, and moving beyond the limits of familiar thinking.
Throughout our sessions, we grew and evolved as an organisation. With Alina’s thoughtful and wise guidance, we developed a three-year Development Strategy for our NGO. This is not just a formal document, but one that genuinely gives wings: it opens new perspectives, inspires confidence, and motivates us to move forward.
This was exactly what we had been missing: a fresh, independent view combined with strong expertise, meaningful insights, clear structure, and a truly professional approach. It is a powerful example of collaboration that does not end with the final meeting, but continues over time, with its impact unfolding gradually.
We are deeply grateful to Alina for her dedicated, insightful, and highly professional work.

I would like to thank Alina for the constructive collaboration in preparing and moderating two events in 2025. I experienced our cooperation as professional and reliable. I particularly valued Alina’s constructively critical perspective, which contributed positively to the preparation and execution of both events.

Despite the remote format, the session was deep, well-structured, and highly engaging for the entire team. Alina created an open space for discussion, helped us articulate our strengths and challenges, and supported us in developing a clear vision for the future.
As a result, we developed a comprehensive organizational strategy that is accessible, understandable, realistic, and thoroughly detailed. It aligns with our actual capabilities, values, and ambitions.
We especially appreciate Alina’s ability to work with team dynamics online, maintain focus, adapt to our pace, and provide practical tools that we have already started to implement.

Working with Alina was a tremendous success for us. She is exactly the kind of consultant who doesn’t just offer advice, but truly connects with the team, helping us see the bigger picture and think more boldly.
From the very first meeting, it was clear we were working with a top-level professional with outstanding strategic vision. Alina is structured, clear, and at the same time attentive to nuance — it’s easy to talk to her, and hard not to feel inspired.
We’re sincerely grateful for her support — warm, honest, and empowering. If you’re looking for someone who can help your project grow, Alina is the person to call.

Starting to work with Alina was the best decision of 2024. For several months, I had been dreaming of "taking my NGO #stop_sexting to the next level of development," but it was entirely unclear what that meant or what needed to be done. Working with Alina opened up endless new possibilities and ideas for us, and the weekly support gave us the courage to implement the most unexpected ideas. I am very happy and grateful!

It was important for us that Alina not only knew the theory well but also had practical fundraising experience and conducted the training based on real examples from her practice. It was a deep dialogue between her as a trainer and the team. All the theoretical information was immediately applied to the case of our organization and current projects. During the training, we gained both important insights and very specific tools for building a fundraising strategy.

Alina’s coaching helped me establish myself as an independent expert. After our first session, I received structured tasks that covered various aspects of my life. By the second session, I had a clear set of services to offer, and together we set a fair price for them. With her support, I successfully launched my business. Alina also helped me find balance between work and personal life, which made this experience truly transformative.

I've had the pleasure of working with Alina in support of the United for Ukraine emergency response project since the onset of the war in Ukraine. Alina, working for Phineo, was a tireless worker, organizing teams to respond to urgent needs, fundraising, navigating complex administrative processes, and sharing insights with colleagues related to the aid and humanitarian sector to get the job done. Alina is a top rate professional, collegial and collaborative, and overall a tremendous asset to Phineo. While already a leader in the humanitarian space, I have no doubt Alina will go on to lead bigger teams to tackle bigger challenges at a higher level in the future.
